Kombra was responding to the reported leakage of the Grade 10 Agriculture examination question paper at a school in Goroka during the exam week earlier this month. “Investigations are still going on,” he said. “We will continue until we get to the bottom of it. “Someone broke into the school and got the paper and we are not sure whether the question paper was returned to the school. “We cannot make that judgment until we go through the process and see if there is an actual evidence of cheating.” Kombra said someone went into the room where the exam papers were being kept and took out a booklet containing the questions. He said the external invigilator went ahead with the examinations. “When we received the exams papers, we realised that there were only nine instead of 10 in a pack,” he said. |
