Grade 12 Geography Examination Topics and Units
Geography is a specialised subject that requires a high level of English Competency. The Geography syllabus is to be used by teachers to teach Upper Secondary students (Grades 11 and 12) throughout Papua New Guinea. The geography syllabus builds upon concepts, skills and attitudes learnt in Lower Secondary and provides a sound foundation for further learning. The Geography National Examination examines the main concepts, skills and attitudes learnt in upper secondary school. The syllabus is based on the curriculum principles from the National Curriculum Statement. It has been designed using learning outcomes that identify the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values that all students achieve or demonstrate by the end of Grade 12. There are seven main topics taught at the upper secondary school in order for the students to sit for the National Examinations
Grade 11 geography Topics and Units
There are four main topics taught in Grade 11 geography in order for students to be able to sit for the National Examinations. These four topics are examined at the end of grade 12 during the National Examinations. These main topics are outlined below.

Grade 12 GEOGRAPHY Examination Topics and Units
The Grade 12 Geography National Examination examines all topics taught in both Grades 11 and 12. There are three main topics taught in Grade 12 geography. The main concepts in all these topics are examined at the end of grade 12. Below is the outlined of the three main Grade 12 topics.
