Grade 12 ICT Examination Topics and Units

​The Grade 12 National Examination in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for the upper secondary schools throughout Papua New Guinea is based on the examination topics and units outlined in the ICT syllabus. The syllabus builds upon concepts, skills and attitudes learnt in Lower Secondary and provide a sound foundation for further learning.
There are twelve main examination topics in the ICT course taught at the upper secondary level.

Grade 11 ICT Examination Topics and Units

• ​There are seven main Examination topics in Grade 11 where all students must be knowledgeable to sit for the ICT National Examinations. These seven main Examination topics are outlined below.

12.5 Computers and Employment
3 weeks

• Career options in ICT
• Job search on the internet and in other Media
• Formatting résumés or CVs
• Formatting job application letters

PNG  Grade 12 ICT Examination Specification 

There are atleast three multiple Choice questions are asked for each unit and at least 10 Short answer questions worth 7 marks each.
