The University of Goroka is located in Goroka, the capital of the Eastern Highlands Province of Papua New Guinea. Goroka is known for its springtime climate and the natural beauty of its surrounding mountains. The Highlands’ sense of tradition and culture is part of life in Goroka, as well as at the University. Students and staff from all over PNG and other nations are encouraged to maintain and share their own traditional cultures whilst at UOG.

Bachelor of Education Pre-Service In-Service Primary & Secondary Subject Specialisations:
The Faculty offers a variety of courses in the Sciences, Mathematics & Computing, Agriculture, Home Economics, Design & Technology, Physical Education, Health, Nursing, Business Studies, and Technical and Vocational studies.
The formal conduct of courses is through lectures, tutorials and practicals (either laboratory or field work) that are mandatory for all students enrolled in any of the faculty courses.
