• About University of Goroka

The University of Goroka (UoG)  is located in Goroka  in the Eastern Highlands of Papua New Guinea. The university  is the third largest of the six universities in Papua New Guinea (PNG), and is by far the largest teacher education institution. The University was formed in 1997 from two faculties of the University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG), Goroka Teacher’s College (GTC) and the Faculty of Education. Integration and expansion in Goroka has allowed their programs to be rationalized and upgraded through continuous reviews.
 The University offers Specialized Degree, and Diploma Programs in the School of Education, School of Humanities, School of Science and Technology, Institute of Technical Vocational Education and Training, School of PostGraduate Studies, Institute of Distance and Flexible Learning, UOG Enga Campus, and UOG Sepik Campus.
The university now has several campuses around the country.

• Admission Requirements for University of Goroka 

In order to study at  the University of Goroka, students must meet the entry requirements. The entry requirements for each course program varies from field of study.  Generally, at GPA of  2.8 and above is required to study at the University of Goroka..

• School Leavers for University of Goroka 

School leavers are those students who are doing Grade 12 in the normal school system in Papua New Guinea. These students must apply through the DHERST Noas program.  Check out How to apply through NOAS 

• Non School Leavers Applications Forms for University of Goroka 

The Non School leavers application forms  for University of Goroka are usually released by the University  in July annually. Non School leaver forms can be downloaded on the links provided below. 
Please note that, the entry requirements for non school leavers to study at university of Goroka are same stated in the paragraph above.
