According to the student union, the program commenced with impactful speeches that left both students and teachers visibly moved. Senior student Jordan Yandalla shared his inspiring journey to UPNG, recounting how he overcame the setback of being dropped from grade 12 selections. His heartfelt speech resonated, evoking tears from the audience. ![]() Mr. Gabriel Kundiri, a teacher at Kagua Secondary School, conveyed the gratitude of parents in the Kagua Erave area. He expressed that the visit was a blessing and emphasized the transformative power of education. School Principal Mr. Kita Yambi thanked the UPNG students for the impactful visit, foreseeing the positive impact of the donated save books and printer on the students' academic journey. The presence of parents from Kagua Valley added to the significance of the occasion. They expressed anticipation for the upcoming major awareness event that will be staged at Kagua station market on Saturday. The visit ended on a high note with a mini career expo, providing an exciting opportunity for Kagua Secondary School students to interact with the students. The energy in the school ground was high as the Kagua Secondary School students engaged with the university students asking all questions about the prospects of furthering their studies. The student union declared that their visit to Kaupena Secondary and Kagua Secondary Schools were raging success and they hope the upcoming visits as inspirational and motivational too. The students have delivered two Printers worth K8000 each and Save Book Text Books to Kaupena Secondary School and Kagua Secondary School in their Text Book Drive and Awareness Campaigns.
