The University of Papua New Guinea UPNG has released the fee structure for Post Graduate for 2023.
All students, parents, and sponsors are advised of the UPNG Fee Structure for the 2023 Academic Year, as approved by the University Council. Ensure that you read the accompanying notes for clarification. All fees are in PNG Kina. MOROBE tertiary students are carrying out a province-wide awareness programme over the school break.
The group consisting of 17 tertiary students from both the University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG) and University of Technology (Unitech) planned to carry out the awareness in 10 districts. Incoming UPNG Student Representative Council (SRC) president Luther Kising said the awareness programme was much needed one as it would cover the importance of education, rights and health. “The awareness programme is being spearheaded by the UPNG Morobe students,” he said. ![]() The Western Pacific University (WPU) management announces that our 2023 tuition fees are K12,000.00 for all students. In order to be registered for the 2023 academic year and during registration week, both self-sponsored students (continuing and new in-takes)and TESAS students (continuing and new intakes) are required to pay 75 % of the 2023 annual fee for semester one under each respective student category they fall under during registration week in February 2023. A well-respected figure in the executive circle hangs his booth after 42 years in the Banking Industry. Originally, from Australia, Robin is a devout man in a deeply Christian country of which he has become a citizen. He lives in PNG with his wife Dora, and three children Cassandra, Liam and Joshua. The Queensland-born is known by his trademark handlebar moustache and mullet hairstyle, but says less about him than it does about PNG’s business community. He is known by many on the streets of PNG as the “BOSSMAN BILONG HAUSMANI” which simply means the “BANK BOSS”. ![]() MADANG governor Ramsey Pariwa has assured teachers in the province that their leave fares will be paid. Pariwa said the delay in payment was with the provincial education division who submitted the claims late for approval. He was responding to concerns raised by teachers who had not received their leave fares with Christmas already passed. He said the provincial education division only produced their claims last week and the provincial administration was now working to process payments. ![]() The Marape-Rosso led PNG Government has allocated the same amount of funding to subside school fees for students this year. The scholarship will cover seventy-five percent of the total school fees for students in tertiary education, whilst the parents and sponsors will only pay the remaining twenty-five percent. The wife of Andrew Barter, the son of the late Sir Peter, Juanita Barter, who spoke on behalf of the Barter family thanked the Madang Governor and the management of Ramu Nickel Mine for the initiative. ![]() By Secretary of DHERST Dr. Francis Hualupmomi, Ph.D A snapshot of 2022 National Online Selection for Grade 12 School leavers who have applied for a space in tertiary institutions. The results are digitally generated within less then 5 seconds. In 2022, 27, 902 Grade 12 students applied online for 249 programmes in 62 registered tertiary institutions in PNG. Note that institutions set their own criteria in the system. From the total applicants, 11, 125 have been successfully selected. These students have met the criteria. 16, 777 students who didn't meet the criteria are placed in the Admission Pool. From the admission pool, only 8, 335 studnts who are qualified will be selected by institutions to fill up the quota or spaces of 19, 460 available at the institutions. Interestingly, we have observed a positive growth in Acces to higher education. |
