By Marlu Marshall Salary payment delays and pay cut or even being not on pay are active issues currently faced by yet faithful teachers. Most of the victims (teachers) burst out their grievances on social media mostly with the understanding that social media has revolutionized the society and by posting they might find support or comfort. I have also realized the some people who are not of teacher profession throw negative comments to teachers regarding the issues. Firstly, if you are not a teacher and not a help to the concern teachers, please refrain from making demoralizing comments in social media.
Teachers have constitutional right to complain regarding any issue that concerns them such as pay delay and cut in this case. They have needs and wants like you. Respect the teachers, like any other employee, teachers are entitled to their payments in cash. They must be paid accurately. Appreciate and accept the fact that teachers work extra hours that are not counted in the hours paid for, yet they render their services diligently. If they demand for the hours they spend working, this country will face financial insolvency or go bankrupt. You'll even lose your job because government will divert all the money to pay hours about 65, 000+ teachers utilise working. Finally never forget teachers make all other professions. You are where you are because of teachers. Your kids will come through teachers. Whether it's not your teacher or your children's teachers, as long as the person carries the tittle teacher he or she deserves your ultimate respect and support if needed. Thank you, coming from a teacher. #TISA_NATION Next : Papua New Guinean Soccer Star Graduate With A Degree In Lucrative Digital Marketing Field Share your Inspirational Stories, Education Issues, Education Talk.
