![]() THE Yauwe Moses Secondary School in Chuave district, Simbu is blessed with K4 million project for a new multipurpose mess hall from the Chuave district development authority last week. This was made know by CDDA Chairman and local MP Wera Mori during his official trip to officiate a school initiated tree planting project. Mr Mori who is the Minister for Environment Conservation and Climate Change said the money has already been made available and will have an outlay of the construction display soon at the district headquarter. He said this is another addition to the modern standard dormitory, classroom, science lab and teachers house that are currently in use hence it will change the face of Yauwe Moses.
He said it will not only accommodate students for dining purposes but for other activities like hosting graduations, public speeches, talent show also with a indoor complex basketball court. “I decided to name this building Kumo Multi-Purpose Building, for the reason that Kumo is the name of my mother and mothers are always in the kitchen working hard to look after us and this mess is the reflection of all the hard working mothers in the district”, Minister Mori said. Former Geologist said they will also supply the mess with the modern facilities that will be equal to the most modern messing facilities that are found in five stars hotel in the country. He said this will be the trade mark of his government and he want to do it with quality and substance. “The money has been already deposited and we will award it to a well qualified contractor who are going to put in quality materials that can last”, he said. The two time Chuave MP said this mess will be the biggest mess hall for a secondary school in the country and assured the locals of the emerging job opportunities that the project will bring-fort during the construction and after construction.
