BANK South Pacific Financial Group Ltd acting chief executive officer Ronesh Dayal says school fee payments can be made online instead of joining queues at the bank. Dayal said 80 schools in the Highlands region, 120 in Morobe, 60 in the National Capital District, 100 in the New Guinea Islands and 50 in Southern had registered for the school fee payment. BSP offers a school fee payment service through the BSP mobile banking USSD (unstructured supplementary service data) service *131# and on BSP Pay. “Customers who are registered on BSP mobile banking can pay school fees directly to the schools from the comfort of their home or office,” Dayal said.
“As we approach the busy school fee season, BSP continues to offer a range of services to support both parents and students. “BSP provides the most competitive unsecured personal school fee loan product in PNG with approved loan applications funded within 24 hours and in some cases as quickly as 90 minutes after approval. “The demand for this product has remained strong in line with historical levels. “BSP has also extended Saturday banking across 28 branches to further assist its customers. “Payments are only accepted through schools that are registered as BSP mobile merchants. “Each school is issued a school code that allows parents and students to reference when making school fee payments via BSP mobile banking *131#. “Alternatively, customers can use BSP internet banking to pay fees directly to these schools as well as through BSP pay for a select number of schools like the University of PNG and Pacific Adventist University.” The National / PNG Education news Next : Let Orientations And Registrations Proceed, Says Higher Education Minister Comments are closed.
