To Students, Parents, Guardians, and Stakeholders: 1. UNSUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS: If your name is not listed, consider your application unsuccessful due to ineligibility or lack of space. 2. RE-ADMISSIONS, UOG-ENGA CAMPUS, AND UOG-SEPIK CAMPUS SUCCESSFUL NON-SCHOOL LEAVERS: The 2023 Semester One Re-admission and successful Non-School Leavers lists for UOG-Enga and UOG-Sepik Campuses are accessible on the University of Goroka website: www.unigoroka.ac.pg 3. INFORMATION FOR CONTINUING STUDENTS: Outstanding 2023 tuition fees must be settled along with payments of the COMPULSORY FEE Component for 2024 before full registration for the 2024 Academic Year. This includes students with unsuccessful HELP Loan applications in 2023. 4. FEE PAYMENT METHOD: All categories of students are required to pay the Compulsory Fees component by Monday, 5th February 2024, before Registration. Students become eligible for the HELP Loan Scheme after paying the Compulsory Fee Component. Note: All 2024 Tuition Fees should be paid into the University of Goroka BSP Bank Account Number: 7015847481.
Fraud cases in fee payments will be swiftly dealt with by the Police. The Laptop Fee component for ALL Levels is exempted from the Annual Tuition Fee schedule. However, it is a requirement that all UOG students own a laptop for online classes. 5. 2024 ACCEPTANCE LIST FOR SCHOOL LEAVERS AND NON-SCHOOL LEAVERS AND OTHERS: The selection list for 2024 can be accessed on the UoG website: www.unigoroka.ac.pg. Acceptance Letters will be dispatched before the 2024 Academic year. Make necessary arrangements upon confirming your name on the University Acceptance list. 6. ORIENTATION & REGISTRATION: Orientation and Registration for All New Students will be from the 05th -11th February 2024. Registration for All Students will be from the 12th to the 18th February 2024 and will be conducted in Schools and Institutes. Late Registration will be from 19th February to 1st March 2024, with a fee of K200. All students are required to complete the payment of their Compulsory fee components before the Registration date. 7. TRAVEL PLAN: Self-Sponsored Students: Arrange and cover your travel fares to and from the University. Sponsored Students: Your sponsor will cover your travel fares. Sponsored students must adhere to baggage regulations. From Thursday, 01st February 2024, the University Bus will meet all incoming flights from the airport. For late arrivals after 4:00 pm, contact the Security Office at Phone No. 531 1775 or 531 1750 for pick up. 8. IMPORTANT DATES: 05th February 2024: Deadline for payment. 01st – 05th February 2024: Students start to arrive on campus. 05th – 11th February 2024: Orientation/Registration for all new intakes. 12th -18th February 2024: Registration for Continuing Students. 19th February to 1st March 2024: Late Registration [Late Fee of K200.00]. 19th February 2024: Semester One Lectures Commence. 9. THE COURSE: The Course runs from 19th February to 22nd November 2024, divided into two semesters of thirteen weeks each. Study breaks and vacations are scheduled. Professional Experience for specified levels takes place from 22nd July to 13th September 2024. 10. ACCOMMODATION AND MEALS: On-campus accommodation priority is given to female students on National Government TESAS recipients and Corporate Sponsored (DFAT, BEST, OK Tedi) students ONLY. Some students will be accommodated Off Campus within the University of Goroka vicinity. For accommodation arrangements, contact Student Welfare Services. 11. OFF-CAMPUS ACCOMMODATION: Non-TESAS Students must secure their own off-campus accommodation. Exceptions apply to specific categories. 12. REFUND OF EXCESS FEES: Effective 2024, the University will cease refunding excess tuition fees to students. All Excess Tuition Fees for Continuing Students will be carried forward to the next academic year. Corporate Sponsors are advised to pay funds to students' bank accounts or issue a Bank Cheque payable to the University of Goroka TUITION FEE ACCOUNT. 13.
