CATHOLIC agency schools in Southern Highlands that were suspended due to General Election 2022-related violence are working hard to improve facilities to cater for extra intakes next year, an official says. Catholic education agency secretary Daniel Beli said Kumin Primary near Mendi town, Soi Primary in Nipa-Kutubu, Rotianda Primary in Kagua-Erave and Rotianda Vocational Education Training schools were suspended. He said for Kumin Primary, teachers and preparations for next year were intact while the school management team was working to ensure facilities were improved.
“Teachers at Soi, Rotianda Primary and Rotianda Vocational Education Training schools left the schools when the violence erupted as the environment was not conducive and school proprieties were at risk of vandalism,” Beli said. “I have urged communities near the schools to take ownership.” The National / PNG Education News Also read >> PNG Education Department Maintains Operations Despite Being Locked Out Comments are closed.
