PAPUA New Guinea (PNG) Art Activism co-founder and director Nelson Kokoa says students should know their purpose in life. “Recognise the power of education and think of how you would use it to positively impact the lives of others,” he said. Kokoa said this during the opening of the National Capital District Grade 12 students career expo last month. “Living a purpose-driven life is like fuel for our souls, boosting us to make meaningful contributions to our communities.”
Kokoa encouraged students to be open-minded and participate in any activities and not within their capacity limits. “Community service and volunteering not only benefit others but also enrich our own lives, fostering empathy and connection.” He said apart from serving as the PNG Art Activism co-founder and director, he is also the Voice Inc programme officer.
