A SENIOR lecturer at the University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG) has presented grade 11 business studies text books to the university’s bookshop to support secondary school teaching and learning.

FIRE destroyed a students’ mess at Saidor High School in Madang yesterday, Madang Police Commander Supt Mazuc Rubiang says.
Rubiang said police officers were at Saidor to monitor the situation and additional manpower would be sent to investigate the matter. He said the people must work with police to ensure the suspects were dealt with. The newly launched university is a merger of three Lutheran institutions in the country: Balob Teachers College in Lae, Martin Luther Seminary in Lae and the Madang Lutheran School of Nursing. The university’s first faculties will be guided by the institutions. The faculties are: education (Balob Teachers College), theology (Martin Luther Seminary), and health and medicine (Madang Lutheran School of Nursing). |
