Among them was a 14-year-old boy. The hospital's Chief Executive Officer, Dr Paki Molumi, says there will be an independent investigation, sanctioned by Health Minister Jelta Wong. The news of the deaths at the country's biggest referral hospital has come as a shock and disappointment to the family and the public. Hela education director Ronny Angu gave K50,000, from the province’s budget. He said more than 80 students were enrolled in diploma and degree programmes that needed help from the department. He thanked the provincial government administrator Marago Dagoba for supporting the initiative, as well as Governor Philip Undialu for its additional sponsorship of K75,000 through Hela Undialu Education Foundation.
