Papua New Guinea Minister for Department of Higher Education Research, Science and Technology (DHERST) Don Polye said he wants to be seen as a team leader and not a boss. Minister Polye told the staff of DHERST that the 'boss' mentality in PNG needs to be broken in order for the country to move forward. He was speaking at the DHERST 47th Independence celebration at the Department office yesterday.
Minister Polye assured DHERST Acting Secretary Dr. Francis Hualupmomi and his staff that he will lead from the front and he will need all the support he can get to move forward.
