Speaking on the upcoming fee structure for 2024, Dr. Kombra assured, "School fees definitely will be free." He emphasized the continuation of policies regarding project and tuition fees, affirming the provision of tuition-free education and project fee subsidies to all schools. Dr. Kombra highlighted the seamless financial process, stating, "When the accounts system is opened, treasury will give us the first warrant, and we will pay to schools." He reiterated the government's stance on project fees, emphasizing that schools should not be permitted to collect such fees. Noting consistency in student cost over the previous two years, Dr. Kombra mentioned ongoing revisions to the fees structure, pending ministerial approval. Formal announcements are expected following the completion of these necessary adjustments. He expressed, "We are looking at one or two changes in that policy," indicating imminent alterations awaiting official endorsement. Additionally, Dr. Kombra acknowledged the national government's fulfillment of its commitment by clearing all 2033 fees, ensuring payments to every school by September and October last year.
