![]() The National Schools Rugby League or NSRL received a huge funding boost from PNG’s National Oil and Gas Company, Kumul Petroleum Holdings Limited. The company has announced its sponsorship of K6-million for three (3) years. Managing Director of Kumul Petroleum, Wapu Sonk made it known that the National Oil and Gas Company now becomes the Naming Rights sponsors of the National Schools Rugby League championships. The PNGRFL Chairman Sandis Tsaka, Kumul Petroleum Managing Director Wapu Sonk, CEO PNGRFL Stanley Hondina and KPHL Board Chairman Dr Benedict Yaru signed off the Naming rights agreement.
Song says Kumul Petroleum is proud to invest in the development of both boys and girls at the school level, adding that, they are committed to developing a rugby league for young Papua New Guineans.
