Port Moresby Business College is one of the oldest institutions that has been contributing to the development of Papua New Guinean's human resources. The College was initially operated has secretarial college until December 1986. In 1987, the Department of Education accorded it a Business College status as a result of implementations on its rationalization policy on education.

At the College there is a long tradition of innovative teaching and learning geared towards the need of modern industry, business and society as a whole. In terms of pedagogical philosophy and implementation strategies the following are the activities;

Delivering the programs and courses through lectures tutorial, workshop, case studies, computer simulations, projects etc.

Giving assignment ,tests and other preparatory exercises.

Maintaining the highest service quality programs delivery and students services

Maintaining the most affordable tuition fees consonant with the standard of quality of services offered.

Building a national institutional capacity for a sustainable program of high level human resource development.

The college will pursue it's development strategies through a judicious blend of, on one hand partial autonomy in academic program delivery & on the other hand dependant affiliation internationally renown universities and locally established tertiary institutions for the academic awards.

I was really keen and courios with pom biscol since my year 12 in 2015.

Up on this I placed my first and second choices as my first priority to this sckul.my gradings are c across the major subject that wer taken n its GPA is 2.0
