We are proud to be the premier provider of private vocational education and professional training in Papua New Guinea. There are over 25 programs at IEA TAFE, offering various levels of certificate and diploma courses. Port Moresby Business College is one of the oldest institutions that has been contributing to the development of Papua New Guinean's human resources. The College was initially operated has secretarial college until December 1986. In 1987, the Department of Education accorded it a Business College status as a result of implementations on its rationalization policy on education.
At the College there is a long tradition of innovative teaching and learning geared towards the need of modern industry, business and society as a whole. In terms of pedagogical philosophy and implementation strategies the following are the activities;
Delivering the programs and courses through lectures tutorial, workshop, case studies, computer simulations, projects etc.
Giving assignment ,tests and other preparatory exercises.
Maintaining the highest service quality programs delivery and students services
Maintaining the most affordable tuition fees consonant with the standard of quality of services offered.
Building a national institutional capacity for a sustainable program of high level human resource development.

Port Moresby Technical College is located in Port Moresby. The College is managed by the a/Principal together with his 2x a/Deputy Principal Administration and Academic. The College has also assistant by a/Registrar who looks after the college financial of the college income and outcome expenses and also looks after the students records. There is also Governing Council group of members from each stake holders from different companies who oversees and governed the betterment of the college surroundings.
The College has well Trained Experience teaching Staff with Diploma and Degree in each of the respective trade areas. They are well trained and qualified teachers who can manage and work accordingly on their respective schedules and work together for the betterment of the students.

The College history dates back to the 1960 where the college started at Tavui, where Secretarial courses were offered. Tavui Secretarial College trained Grade 8 students (Form 2 as it used to be called) for secretarial and office jobs in the colonial and pre independence period.
In 1975 the college moved from Tavui to Rabaul and was named as Rabaul Secretarial College on 19th of November 1975.
In 1984, Rabaul Secretarial College (RABSEC) was abandoned due to volcanic scare. However, it was reopened again in 1985 and was renamed to Rabaul Technical College.
In 1990, the name was again changed to the then famous Rabaul Business College. Rabaul Business College was completely destroyed by the twin volcanic eruptions in 1994.
After a period of five years of absence, a new college was established in Kokopo away from Rabaul under the Gazelle Restoration program funded by AUSAID.
The college is now named as Kokopo Business College (KBC) and was officially opened on the 28th June 2000.
KBC is a Government owned institution and comes under the auspicious of the TVET division of the Department of Education.
The college is located at Kenabot on Section 4 Lot 19 in Kokopo on the Island of New Britain. It is about 900 Km North East from the Nations Capital, Port Moresby, about 15km from Tokua airport, and 15 Km South West of Rabaul.

Madang Technical College is one of the Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) College under the National Department of Education. The college is previously known as a specialized Building Trade College because of its courses like Carpentry, Cabinet Making and, Plumbing and Sheet Metal Trades.
In 2007 the college made a huge leap forward in its courses by introducing Non-Trade courses such as National Certificates in Office Administration, Tourism & Hospitality, Diploma in Business Studies specializing in Office Administration and Accounting.
Madang Technical College provides recognized Courses under Office of Higher Education which bridge opportunity for students to further their education to a Diploma or Degree in higher training institutions in the country or overseas. Higher training institutions in the country include Lae Technical College, Australian Pacific Training College, and PNG University of Technology, Divine Word University. Overseas training institution includes the TAFE colleges in Australia.
Madang Technical College is situated in the heart of Madang town. The shopping centers, hospital, post office, government departments’ offices, churches, beach fronts and sporting areas are all within walking distances. It is within the neighborhood of Divine Word University, PNG Maritime College, Kusbau Primary School and Tusbab Secondary School.
The college is protected with 24 hours security guards, and equipped with a stand-by generator which supplies electricity to the whole college.
The College is administered and managed by a Principal and assisted by a Deputy Principal. The Administration also includes the Registrar who looks after the college’s finance and students’ records, and, the College Governing Council committee which is made up of stake holders from various organizations in the province who oversee and governs the management of the college.
From the three departments and two sections are supported by 25 committed, well trained and experienced teaching staff. The Trade Instructors are all Certified Tradesman and Trainers whilst the Non-Trade Instructors on the other hand are Professionals who have Diploma and or Degree with 3-6 years of industrial experiences in their field of specialty.
