 ACATECH Aviation College, is the first aviation school approved by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority of Papua New Guinea to offer aviation courses such as Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. Diploma in Aviation Electronics Engineering, Commercial Pilot with Instrument Rating Course and Flight instructor License Course with complete and state of the art facilitites for training to include first of its kind, Computer Based Training in PNG. It is also the only aviation school that has its own CASA PNG Approved Maintenance Orginization in Papua New Guinea.
The college is also accredited by National Training Counsil (NTC) and Department of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology.

MSC HOPE ACADEMY is run by the Catholic Agency and it is located in an urban area but outside of Alotau town in Milney Province.The school building is along side of Garuboi Street, where we can see vehicles driving up and down. It's a beautiful school and it has 3 staffs running the school with the help of the BOM. We are 17 of us coming from different parts of Milne Bay Province attending the school. It's a day school where we the students find our own accommodation to live and go to school. The school offers all courses and we the 17 of us are enrolled in different courses; for instance , Teaching courses, Nursing courses and etc
Timber and Forestry Training College offers a 40 weeks Certificate Course in Solid Wood Processing-Timber Utilization. It is amalgamated to the Papua New Guinea University of Technology. It is located 3 km from Eriku shopping at the Buimo Road, Abattoirs. There are highly qualified staff both academic and technical. The college accepts grade 12 students who are undertaking science subjects via DHERTS Online Selection. The total quota for TFTC is 50, with additonal students applying through Non-School Leavers. The College also accepts walk-in students at during the enrolment period. It has a boarding facilities and a state institutions.
