Congratulations to those who proceeded further to tertiary institutions. While the efforts by hardworking teachers to put Yauwe Moses on the map, the Headmistress should also be proactive and thinking outside the square in her approach as the principal. I went to Yawe Moses to conduct a small survey with the students but she did not allow me even though the Simbu provincial education through a permission letter, supported me to conduct the survey. She thought the survey was of personal benefit. I am sorry to say that she needs to pull her socks up. We need to look at the bigger picture, how we will develop PNG. Lets not think about competition within ourselves but lets help and work as a team to develop this beautiful nation. Jealousy is a disease that hinders progress. Having said that, administrators in any institutions in PNG should be novel, creative and smart in thinking.
