Marianville Secondary School has developed over the past years. It is a boarding institution and caters for student population of up to 500 students.It has an administration and teaching staff of about 32 and 10 plus ancillary staff. The school is about 15 minutes drive from Gordons and it is located in the Bomana area. The school is situated on the plateau among the Koiari tribes. Koiari people are peaceful. loving, humble, respectful and very cooperative. The climate is very pleasant, with natural cool air. The environment is such that it is always evergreen with trees and grasses surrounding parameters of the school campus. Marianville Secondary School has developed over the past years.
Established 10 years before independence and has existed for another 30 years after independence and is still existing.As an educational institution,it has produced many important and elite leaders,who were the prominent mothers of this nation.Some have passed away,others are still active in holding public offices.
