SAINT Charles Lwanga Secondary School is leading with 759 points as school debaters prepared for the next round in the Em Stret School challenge.
Speaker Rex Appo, 18, said: “Representing our school is an honour and we are privileged to be given this opportunity to participate and learn from it. “We are building ourselves with the help of the teachers, mentors, judges and coaches. “My team is also thankful to the people who work tirelessly to make this happen for us to learn. “The challenge is not yet over and we aim to work harder to be better in the next round. “Public specking is a tool we can use to influence people. It shows you are confident and it takes you places.” In second place is Port Moresby International School, followed by De La Salle Secondary, Kopkop College, Gerehu Seconday and Kilakila Secondary. Don Bosco Techical School and Iarowari Secondary bowed out of the semi-finals. Kwikila Secondary and Waigani Christian College pulled out in the last minute.
