![]() Puritae Rhmcy (Staff) Mt. Hagen Secondary School in Western Highlands Province maintained 3rd position in Grade 12 National Examination Performance Results in Papua New Guinea last year, 2019. The Deputy Principal Curriculum (DPC), MR. Michael KIGA in a staff debreif this morning, said that 449 students out of 513 Gr.12 students who attended Mt. Hagen Secondary last year, 2019, secured spaces in tertiary institutions this year, 2020. Below is the summary of what he said.
1. 45 stds to UPNG 2. 40 stds to UOT 3. 23 stds to UOG 4. 27 stds to DWU 5. 6 stds to Vudal Uni 6. 15 stds to PAU 7. 28 stds to Teachers Colleges 8. 8 stds to Nursing Colleges 9. 38 stds to Poly Tech 10. 3 stds to Agriculture College 11. 8 stds to Sonoma Adventist College 12. 7 stds to Banking Colleges TOTAL: 449 STUDENTS This means ONLY 64 students missed out. On this note, he also mentioned that Mt. Hagen Secondary came 4th in the country in its Grade 10 Performance Results. ONLY 17 Grade 10 students missed out of 639 students.
