The current School of Business and Public Policy (SBPP) was established in 2002. The School is one of the five Schools at the University. The other Schools are the School of Humanities and
Social Sciences, the School of Natural and Physical Sciences, the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, and the School of Law. The University of Papua New Guinea and the School of Business and Public Policy (SBPP) are the major beneficiaries of the Pacific Leadership and Governance Precinct (PLGP), which is an agreement signed between the Governments of Papua New Guinea and Australia. The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), Government of Australia, will be awarding ten scholarships each, to the candidates for the Graduate Diploma in Economic and Public Policy (GDEPP) and the Master of Economic and Public Policy (MEPP) Programs, under the “2022 Public Sector Leadership Scholarships”, through “Australia Awards”. The public servants of the Government of Papua New Guinea are eligible for the scholarship. The awardees will be selected jointly by the Department of Personnel Management, the School, and Australia Awards. The School has strong partnerships with international and local professional organisations and industry. The School is inviting applications for the following Postgraduate Programs:
