![]() Classes at the University of Papua New Guinea have resumed this morning. This is after 6 weeks of lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Students flooded the campus this morning including academic and non academic staff members. Pro-vice chancellor for academic and student affairs, Professor Paul Fleming says online learning system was created last week where students can now access their course materials when uploaded by their strand leaders or lecturers. He says students who cannot access the system can log into UPNG's website www.upng.ac.pg to fill out their student details for activation. He says the administration will still work on whatever means and ways it can to ensure teaching and learning is conducive for students to complete their studies this year. Social distancing and other safety measures are being observed on the campus. Meantime, Professor Paul Fleming says any changes on 2020 academic calendar will be made known to students later this week once the administration sort out teaching and learning planners for both semesters.
