![]() The University of Goroka is graduating a total of 1, 325 students on Tuesday from its various programs. Due to COVID- 19 restrictions, the university’s Student Services Office says, the university has decided to hold two separate graduations. The first was held on Tuesday where students graduating with their first degrees in Education Teacher Training. The second will be on Friday, which will see students graduating with their Post Graduate Diplomas in Education.
Student Records Officer at the University, Atito Musau says, this year’s graduation will be the biggest in U- O- G’s record, as it will witness the highest number of students graduating with their first degrees in Education Teacher Training, and Post Graduate Diplomas in Education. Ms Musau said, last year the University graduated more than a thousand of its students in absentia due to the global COVID- 19 pandemic.
