THE people of Chimbu have been urged to work together towards developing their new teachers college in the province.
Simbu Teachers College (STC) is the first new institution in the province. Principal Clement Kaupa said there had been a lot of negatives being preached by some people who claimed to know everything. He said the college is recognised by the National Education Board. “The programmes run here are approved teachers’ curriculum and I do not see any point why people are making so many comments, especially the Chimbus. “If you have any queries, you have to come and face the administration and not the media.” He said STC students are registered and when they graduate they would be posted to teach in schools. He said Chimbus are supposed to become the happiest people when for the first time they have a new institution in their province. 12/5/2015 09:10:50 pm
I have asked the Teaching Service Commission on 3/12/15 and they said that STC is a registered school. graduates can teach and receive their pay through the education department. confirm recognise by the Government.
