![]() A multi-agency emergency response and incident management training exercise was conducted on Saturday 29th July as part of OTML’s effort to better prepare itself react and respond to a crisis situation. The exercise was based on a simulation of a bus crash with multiple casualties in distress. These simulated events demands a coordinated and swift response from various agencies, highlighting the significance of teamwork and preparedness in crisis situations. The exercise also served a two-pronged crucial purpose - to identify potential gaps and loopholes in a multi-agency response to a real emergency and enable teams involved to demonstrate knowledge of their mine’s incident management plans including all necessary duties associated with initiating an emergency response. By conducting this drill, OTML reaffirms its steadfast commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all its stakeholders. Also read Comments are closed.
