The 2024 National Capital District Technical Vocational Educational and Training - School Fee Assistant Program (NCD TVET SFAP) has officially commenced its enrollment phase. The program, aimed at providing financial assistance for tertiary, college, and university studies within the city, was inaugurated by Sponsor and NCD Governor Powes Parkop. In a ribbon-cutting ceremony held today, Wednesday, 27th December 2023, Governor Parkop marked the opening of applications for eligible candidates to vie for scholarships under this esteemed program. Highlighting the program's evolution, Parkop emphasized the shift from manual operations to an online platform, streamlining the application process for greater transparency and efficiency. Under this initiative, students can access the NCD TVET SFAP online application portal to submit their documents for consideration in the 2024 academic year. The application window opened today and is exclusive to NCD residents or individuals who completed their primary or secondary education solely within NCDC boundaries. Governor Parkop stressed that the application period will conclude on the 1st of February 2024, urging eligible candidates to seize this opportunity within the stipulated timeframe. Notably, the program aims to enroll only 700 candidates, emphasizing a stringent selection process for the final shortlisting of beneficiaries. The transition to an online application system signifies a pivotal change in the program's operations, aiming to streamline accessibility and enhance transparency for aspiring scholars seeking financial support within the National Capital District.
