The School was later turned in a Primary School and Australian Curriculum was taught for some time.
The School was destroyed during the civil war and it was started at two locations Minister MASIU in his speech told the people to make sure their kids were sent to school as Bougainville must prepare its people for Independence. He said Bougainville will need a educated population to run the affairs of this new nation. He said that we cannot talk about Independence readiness if we are not prepared on the ground. The Minister also promised to build a Teacher’s house for the school. Minister Masiu also Presented TEN THOUSAND KINA Cheque to the LARUMA PRIMARY SCHOOL.
