![]() The Papua New Guinea Department of Information and Communications Technology understands that the future of the ICT sector lies in the hands of the younger generation and to propel that change means to create a learning environment that fosters a culture of innovation and critical thinking. As such, the Department of ICT partnered with PNG Flying Labs to deliver a 3 days "Code & Bots" program at Jubilee Secondary School in Port Moresby during the Inaugural 2021 National ICT 2021.
The 3-day program gave the Department an opportunity to note the challenges faced by the ICT/STEM teachers and how best the issues can be adequately addressed to enhance student learning now and into the future. The program was well-received by both the Jubilee Catholic Secondary School as the participating school and the Summit as a showcase to Digital Literacy and Capacity Building.
