THREE high school students in Manus have been charged with possession of drugs and detained, according to police. The students attend Lokombo High School in the Pobuma local-level government area of Lorengau. Manus police commander Chief Inspector David Yapu said their arrest followed a phone call to his office by a board member of the school, requesting police to search the students’ bags.
They did and found drugs in the bags. Yapu said the three students were interviewed and they admitted to being in possession of drugs. They will appear before the Lorengau District Court today.
