THE Flexible Open Distance Education (Fode) in Papua New Guinea will be using a new learning and technology management system next year, says an official. Founder and the chief executive of Reelae Samson Korawali said the use of this technology system will see Fode manage all their school information and have full control in its operations. “The day has come to make learning in PNG aligned with our curriculum accessible on any device any time anywhere, with a local solution,” he said. Korawali said their local software company Reelae was a global school and learning management system which was suitable for any schools, students, and staffs to get information using online web.
Fode principal Anthony Rayappan expressed his excitement and gratitude for the collaboration between all parties involved. “It’s really the need of the day that we have been seeing the traditional way of learning is also now going away but technology is attracting more kids.” Department of information and communication Technology representative Robertson Asari said: “We have to expedite the journey because the world has gone ahead.” The National / PNG Education news Also read >> WLI Appoints 8 Alumni Representatives In PNG, Fiji & Samoa Comments are closed.
