![]() Statement by Australian High Commission Port Moresby We recognised the work of Dr Kaye Eldridge, Facility Director of the Australia Awards PNG and wished her well on her next adventures. Dr Eldridge has spent the last seven years in Papua New Guinea and we thank her for her contribution to the Australia Awards program and the PNG-Australia partnership during this time. The relationships she has forged personally and professionally in her time here have strengthened the Australia Awards program and deepened the people to people links that connect Australia and PNG. Colleague and friend Samson Vartovo reflects on working with Dr Eldridge: ‘It’s been a pleasure working with Kaye. Her visionary leadership and foresight has been a vast contribution to the program, especially with alumni engagement which has seen growth and expansion of the PNG Australia Alumni Association.’
‘I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to learn so much about this part of the world through Papua New Guinean mentors and friends, and to collect so many wonderful memories’, said Dr Eldridge. Dr Eldridge has more than twenty years’ experience in higher and international education, and has a wealth of knowledge in both education and international development.
