![]() STUDENTS and staff from the Kelua Teachers College in Mt Hagen, Western Highlands, will now have access to an electronic library (e-library). The e-library cost over K50,000 and was installed by the Australian Rotary. The assistance will allow students and staff to access a set of documents available electronically for course work and the college’s academic programme.
Divine Word University was the first to introduce an e-library to allow paperless learning and assessment. Mt Hagen Rotary’s John Onga delivered the project to the college; installing it and conducting training on its use and maintenance. Onga said the e-library basically comprised of a desktop computer allied with a portable wifi signal boosting device to allow access to materials.
