This is the ranking of secondary schools in Southern  Highlands Province based on the 2021 Grade 12 National Examination Results.  The Mean Rating Index (MRI) was used to rank the Schools.

The MRI is calculated by  total number of A, B and C Grades scored divided by the total  students  who sat the exams (for each school).  MRI = (Sum of, A, B, C)/Population. 

Southern Highlands Province passed out  944 Grade 12 students in 2021. ​
Ialibu Secondary school was the top performing school in Southern  Highlands Province. Kagua secondary school got the second placing.

Western Highlands Province passed out  2205 Grade 12 students in 2021. ​

This is the ranking of secondary schools in Eastern Highlands Province based on the 2021 Grade 12 National Examination Results.  The Mean Rating Index (MRI) was used to rank the Schools.

The MRI is calculated by  total number of A, B and C Grades scored divided by the total  students  who sat the exams (for each school).  MRI = (Sum of, A, B, C)/Population. 

Eastern Highlands Province passed out  2896 Grade 12 students in 2021. 
Aiyura National High School was the top school in Eastern Highlands in 2021 Grade 12 National Examination. This was followed by private school Goroka Grammar on second placing.

The Education Department through the Measurement Services has released the Grade 12 Examination Report for Language and Literature (English) Subject  for 2020.

The Papua New Guinea Education Department through the Measurement Services Divisions (MSD) has released Examination reports for year 2020. According to MSD, these reports are made available to schools on the Students Data Collection System (SDCS). Schools throughout the country can download the reports through the SDCS. 

The report below is the performance of  Written Expression Examination by Grade 12 students in 2020. ​

The Milne Bay Province was the top performing province in Grade 10 Examination in 2020.  The province was ranked first in Science, Social Science, Agriculture. Second in English, Mathematics, Business Studies  and Personal Development 
The second top performing province was the National Capital District. NCD ranked first in English, Mathematic, Business Studies, Personal Development, second in Business studies and Agriculture, fourth in Science. 

The third top performing province was  Manus province.
