The two final year Mechanical Engineering students, Ms. Oksana Mirino and Ms. Myra Kakarere, with their supervisor, Dr. Aezeden Mohamed, recently submitted their feasibility design to former Governor of Eastern Highlands Province, Mr. Peti Lafanama who will use to source funding for the hydro. Teaching Service Commission (TSC) chairman Samson Wangihomie said there was a shortage of teachers in the country and university graduates without teaching qualifications could teach on the condition they secured a teaching position in a school. ![]() The PNG Education Department and the Teaching Services Commission have terminated nine (9) Teachers from the teaching force for facilitating examination cheating. Three others including the school principal were imposed disciplinary actions including salary deduction and demotion. The alleged cheating took place at Kwip Dau Secondary School in Western Highlands where the alleged teachers were teaching in 2019. Following is the list of new intakes who have been offered a placed at the PNG University of Natural Resources & Environment (PNGUNRE) ; East New Britain Campus in Sustainable Tropical Agriculture, Sustainable Fisheries, Sustainable International Tourism, sustainable Tropical Forestry, Sustainable Livestock Production and climate change in 2021. This list also includes the upgraded (bridging), readmission and continuing year four students for the Agriculture and Fisheries Programmes.

The list of School Leavers accepted for admission will ONLY comprise of the candidates selected through NOAS. Those that have been selected through NOAS have received notifications from DHERST so please contact UOG Admin Division for your offer letter. There is NO WAY for any foreign names to be included apart from the NOAS Selection. If you are NOT being selected through NOAS system by DHERST then, count yourself as unsuccessful.
