Kanampa FODE Center is a tutorial branch of the Eastern Highlands Provincial FODE, an initiative of the World Bank tutorial roll out program under the Depatment of Education. It is located at Barola, 7 miles west of Kainantu town, EHP. The school has 8 teaching staff, 8 support staff and 5 ancillary staff with 1500 students. The school is a day school and runs both correspondence and tutorial programs. Kanampa FODE Center was established in 2012 to give hope to the hopeless, providing an alternative pathway to secondary education under the Papua New Guinea Government's arrangement of Public Private Partnership.
