A report on the investigations into the affairs of the University of Technology - Unitech - is now before the cabinet for endorsement before it will be made public.
Minister for Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology, David Arore revealed this in parliament yesterday after Member for Nawae, Gisuwat Siniwin raised questions on when the report will be released. Mr Arore also revealed the issue relating tot he Unitech is now under control but he will work with authorities to ensure normalcy returns to the institution. "It was the National Executive Council that ordered the investigation into the institution. "And so after the report was presented to the National Executive Council, it wanted a few clarifications on the report so the matter was brought back and is now completed. "Whatever the National Executive Council wanted the clarification on has been cleared, so its back to the NEC. "As soon as the NEC gives the clearance, the report shall be made public in the next couple of weeks, ïn a week or two. "I want to assure this national that in the next 2 weeks, the reported should be presented," Mr. Arore said. Comments are closed.
