TERM three is an important term for Grade 10 and 12 students who will be sitting for their national exams in October.
Gordon Secondary Principal, George Kenega said term three would be a short term with only nine weeks of study. Students in Grade 12 will be sitting for their Written Expression exams on Aug 10. “I would like to remind Grade 10 and 12 students that attending classes daily and commitment to study this term is key to them doing well in their final exams in October,” Kenega said. Kenega said students in Grade 10 would sit for national exams in week three of term four followed by Grade 12s. He is urging parents to encourage and support their children to attend their classes and keep them out of trouble. Gordon Secondary has 292 Grade 10 and 205 Grade 12 students. De La Salle Secondary principal James Ume said 270 Grade 10 students and 186 Grade 12 students have been taking extra curriculum activities this term. “As the term is quite short, our Grade 10 and 12 will be doing remedial classes in the afternoons,” Ume said.
