2/28/2017

STUDENTS who score a grade point average of 2.5 and above can take up the bachelors programme while those who score below will take diploma courses at the Jubilee Institute of Higher Education.
Deputy director for academic studies Professor Sam Sirox Kari, said this during the opening of the academic year on Thursday..
“Your GPA will determine your achievements and your studies in the institution,” Kari said.
“These lecturers are here to assist you. They are not here to fail you.
“You are to be blamed for your lack of performance if you score a lesser GPA mark.”
He encouraged the students to perform hard in their studies and to seek assistance from staff and other learning materials.
Kari said they have written to the UPNG, the administration college at Waigani, National Research Institute and the National library so that their students could have access to school materials. The National
