Simbu Teachers College board sworn in

The new Governing Council for Simbu Teachers College was sworn in today.

The 11 board members will serve a term of two years.

Principal of the college, Clement Kaupa, says the new governing council will drive the college forward with guidance and new development.

Representatives from the Simbu Provincial Administration, police personnel and other stakeholders from the corporate and private sectors attended the swearing in ceremony.

Simbu Teachers College began operation last year and now has 230 second year students and 800 first years and 22 academic staff including Mr. Kaupa, the founding principal.
