Education Minister Hon. Nick Kuman has thrown his support behind MP for Telefomin Solan Mirisim to deliver infrastructure for Telefomin High School and the Tabubil-Telefomin road.
"I will partner with your MP to ensure your school infrastructures are funded and your road will go ahead,” Minister Hon. Nick Kuman said in his speech to the people of Telefomin last Friday. Nick Kuman said the present Government had spent K3 billion through district services improvement program (DSIP) and province services improvement program (PSIP) funding to all provinces in the country. He said through that spending the government has seen some results as in the case of Menyamya district in Morobe Provixnce. He urged the graduating 195 Grade 10 students of Telefomin High School to commit and dedicate their time and efforts into studies to excel. "You don’t need to be very bright to enter university. It is your commitment and dedication," he said.
