POLICE have arrested and charged a man in relation to and alleged murder case at the Hanta settlement in Lae.
Chief Inspector Charles Winuan told The National that the incident happened on Monday Feb 15. The deceased was Gerepe Ridom, 21, of Isan village in Kabwum, a grade 5 student at the Amba Primary School. “Two months ago, arrests were made (over the same case) for reservist Eric Neong and his accomplice Max Ningu. “We have charged a third accomplice Dominic Kanduo, 57, from Nimiekin village in Wewak, with one count of murder. Kanduo is a police reservist. “We also instituted disciplinary charges under the Police Force Act on the two officers. Kanduo is now awaiting his bail at the national court. This is another good job that police have completed in the investigations.” The National
