Education Department Awards Top Performing Grade 10 Students in 2023

The Papua New Guinea Department of Education has recognised top performing students in the Grade 10 examinations with Ministers Awards. 
The  secretary of Education, Dr. Uke Kombra announced the awards when launching examination results for the 2023 academic last Friday. According to the secretary, the  there were over 70,000 Grade 10 who sat the examinations this year (2023).  For  the first time, the department is recognizing the top performing students in each of the subjects offered at Grade 10 level. 
'He said, the awards will be now called Ministers Awards. The students will get special certificates and other awards  from the Education Minister Hon. Jimmy Uguro
