Dr. Tom Lino Invests K300,000 in Education for Wabag Schools

Wabag Open MP Dr. Tom Lino has allocated K300,000 to support three schools in Irelya Lutheran Mission Station, reflecting his commitment to improving education in the district.

The funding, distributed under the Wabag District Development Authority (WDDA), includes K100,000 each for Kipuli Memorial Irelya Primary School, Imambus Elementary School, and Lumlumbus Elementary School. Dr. Lino, who also chairs the WDDA, urged the schools to use the funds efficiently to enhance learning outcomes.

Speaking at the presentation, Dr. Lino stressed the significance of education in shaping the future of the community and emphasized the need for responsible management of the funds to achieve long-term benefits. He reiterated that fostering education remains a top priority for his administration.

The MP also announced plans to continue assisting schools across the district, ensuring that more students have access to quality education. This initiative is part of his broader vision to empower the youth through education.

The Irelya Lutheran Mission Station, located just outside Wabag Town, is a hub for education, housing the Education Faculty of the Innovative University of Enga and serving as a vital resource for the community.
