2024 National Examinations Dates

The Measurement Services Unit of the Education Department is currently packing and dispatching examination booklets to all provinces. Principals, schools, and stakeholders are warned to prevent any examination cheating, as severe penalties will be imposed on those caught violating the rules. The department wishes all Grade 8, 10, and 12 students the best as they prepare to face their respective examinations starting early next month.

The schedule below reflects the official dates released by the Education Department through its 2024 calendar. Students are urged to familiarize themselves with the timetable and prepare accordingly for their upcoming exams.
The National Department of Education has announced the 2024 National Examination Dates. Below are the confirmed examination schedules:

1. Lower Secondary School Certificate Written Expression Exam (Grade 10) - Completed in June 2024.
2. Upper Secondary School Certificate Written Expression Exam (Grade 12) - Completed on 5thr August 2024.
3. Grade 12 STEM Exams - Completed. 30th September to 4th October, 2024.
4. Lower Secondary School Certificate Exam (Grade 10) - Monday 7th - 11th October, 2024
5. Upper Secondary School Certificate Exam (Grade 12) - From Monday 14th to Friday 18th October, 2024.
6. Certificate of Basic Education Exam (Grade 8) - Monday 21st to  Thursday 24th October, 2024

Students are encouraged to prepare and be on time for their respective exams.
