SOME of the Papua New Guinean students undergoing pilot training at Elite Global Aviation in Philippines will be given the opportunity by that pilot school to work, an official says.
Vice President of the flight school, Captain Bruce Paki said this would help students to exercise the knowledge and skills they have learnt to fly planes. Paki said the school would graduate four PNG students with their private pilot license (PPL) out of the 24 first batch pilot cadets. He said it was a huge mile stone because students were not only tested on their knowledge and skills but most importantly, to effectively adjust their attitude and lifestyle to conform to that of a different country for a demanding flying career. “The school will assist these students based on their performance, achievements and standards set by the school,” he said. Paki said the biggest part of the training was done; only the remaining training towards commercial pilot license and other additional rating trainings similar to PPL but make a pilot safer and prepared for all weather conditions. He congratulated the four students and encouraged them to thank God and continue working hard to make their family and country proud. “Elite Global Aviation is dedicated to developing high skilled pilots with professional attitude and leadership qualities,” Paki said.
