The Member for Lae Open, Hon Loujaya Kouza made a cheque presentation to Telikom Foundation this morning for the rollout of its CleanIT program to Lae schools.
The cheque of K250,000 was presented to the phone giant’s foundation at 9am at the Telikom Rumana Head office in Port Moresby. Telikom Foundation Chairman Mahesh Patel thanked the Ms Kouza for the funds and ensured that six schools in Lae would receive the CleanIT program with many more to follow suit in due course. The K250,000 was explained by Mr Patel to be the main funding from which the CleanIT program would be branched out to many more schools all over Lae. The Telikom foundation’s CleanIT program is a revolutionary Online Library for schools initiative that gives students the opportunity to use online learning materials that have been neatly organized to suite the various age groups and their respective learning needs. The program has already been launched in Port Moresby and around the Highlands region in Mendi and Goroka. Comments are closed.
